Just viewed Carlo's Diet Book online which Letizia and family, worked to translate and publish on myblog.it ............It's brilliantly funny, candid, and full of rebellious energy just like the amazing spirit of the author who created it. Put down those nasty triple decker sandwiches and go outside to breath the fresh air says Carlo ;) Ski, dive, walk, play some ping-pong, make a movie, write a diet book, start a blog, make a new friend. Turns out there is much out there beyond the stuffing of the belly!
Bravo!!! Italy and the Pierallini clan has taught you good, basic, common sense, probably the complete opposite of what I was taught as a young adult. But, alas, I am cured of the lazy attitude of by beloved adapted country, turns out, skinny is so easy.

Was thinking of Carlo this morning and decided to google his name only to learn, to my terrible sadness, that he had passed away. I lived with his mother in Italy 10+ years ago and have incredible memories of my time there and of all of the adventures that Carlo took me on. Do you have any contact information for his mom or sister that you can send to me? I would really like to send them a note and would appreciate any information you have.
